For years, Jimmy Jenson was widely known for his Scandinavian dialect and humorous songs. The first record co. (BANGAR) he worked with, attached the name "SWINGIN' SWEDE" to his albums. Actually Jimmy is Norwegian, Scotch, and English. He recorded 7, 33 1/3 albums. In 1972 his song "We Could" was a pick hit in Billboard, and also Album of the Week See Music Catalogs for more information. Jimmy was inducted into the "Mid-America Music Hall of Fame" a few years back. His years in Minneapolis he played country music, working at The Flame with most of the Country stars of the day. Now he is doing mostly gospel music, trying to give back for all the health problems God brought him through. He has 4 Gospel CDs available, 9 total.
